Software engineering built to pass
a Schaumburg vendor review.
Woodfield Mall opened in 1971, and Zurich North America is headquartered here. If you run operations, IT or product at a company in that orbit, we engineer the tools, portals and AI automation vendors keep promising, with a fixed price and working software in your own repository.

A corridor with a long line of vendors
Zurich North America is headquartered in Schaumburg. Buyers in a market like this have usually sat through plenty of demos. The questions that decide it are who owns the code, who answers when it breaks, and what happens if the vendor goes quiet.
Answers a procurement team can check
Our AI engineers write the change and the tests for it, and on the repositories we run, the main branch is locked: it rejects direct pushes, cannot be rewritten, and will not merge until the automated check passes. A security-focused review runs on every change, a red test suite stops the job, and our deploy scripts refuse to run unless the code is exactly what was merged. Every release carries a version you can roll back to.
The Sprint: one hardened feature, two weeks, $25,000 flat
Some teams have an AI prototype that demos well on Tuesday and cannot go live on Friday. The AI Prototype-to-Production Sprint takes one feature from that state to deployed in 14 days for a flat $25,000, half at the start and half on delivery. A working demo is due by day five. If it slips, the engagement ends, the first $12,500 is refunded and you keep whatever was built.
Who you actually deal with
The Sprint begins with a 15-minute fit call. Kevin Champlin, our Founder & Principal Engineer, directs the work and approves the plan before it starts. The building is done by AI agents running on Anthropic's Claude, and we say so plainly. After the work goes live, you receive the source code, a recorded walkthrough and a production roadmap, so your own team can carry it forward without calling us at all.
What you get
What this looks like in practice
Internal tools to retire the spreadsheet
Approvals, intake and reporting screens that match how your department really works, replacing the shared workbook everyone is afraid to edit and the email chain nobody can search.
Portals for clients and partners
Secure sign-in, document exchange and status pages for insurance, financial and professional-services firms that handle sensitive files.
AI document and intake automation
Models that read incoming forms, contracts and emails, sort them and hand a clean summary to a person, in production and not only in a demo.
Branch and field apps
iOS and Android from one Kotlin Multiplatform codebase, for inspectors, route staff and technicians who work away from a desk.
System integrations
Connectors that move data between the platforms you already pay for, so a record is entered once and appears everywhere it should.
Prototype rescue
Take the proof of concept that impressed the board and harden it: tests, monitoring, error tracking and a deploy path your IT group can trust.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What size of company is this built for?
Our free AI audit is aimed at mid-market companies, roughly $10M to $200M in revenue, with a real operational process begging for automation. The Sprint is aimed at engineering teams whose AI prototype is stuck before production. If you are pre-revenue or shopping for the cheapest option, we will say so honestly.
Who owns the code when the work is done?
On a Sprint, the source code lands in your repository, and you get it from day one of the engagement. We deliver an artifact you control, not a permanent dependency on us.
How does the $25,000 Sprint run, day by day?
Day 1 is a 60-minute kickoff to lock scope, data access and the production target. Day 5 is a working demo in your hands. Day 10 the feature is deployed to staging or a sandboxed production environment and tested with real data. Day 14 ends with a recorded walkthrough, a roadmap and the source.
How do you make sure a live change does not break something?
Every change goes through a pull request, an automated test suite and a security-focused review before it merges, and a failing suite stops the job. Releases are versioned, so rolling back is a known step and not an emergency.
Do you replace our IT group or our current vendor?
Neither. The Sprint takes one well-defined feature to production while your people keep running the rest. It is deliberately two weeks, and a larger engagement is a separate conversation you are free to skip.
Will I be talking to a person or a bot?
A person leads it. Kevin Champlin, our human Founder & Principal Engineer, directs every engagement and approves the plan before work starts. The engineers who write the code are AI agents, and we label them as AI everywhere we describe them.

A softer step
Not sure if you even need this kind of work?
Most businesses don't need a custom build. They need a clear look at where AI would actually pay off first. That's what the Free AI Opportunity Audit is: tell us about your operation and an AI agent we engineered reads your website and emails you, in about two minutes, three concrete places AI quietly pays for itself, a 90-day plan for the first one, and a website health grade. No call needed and no follow-up sales sequence. The audit is yours whether or not we ever work together.
