Kernel Quest is a free retro side-scrolling arcade game celebrating the 79th Mendota Sweet Corn Festival — Aug 6–9, 2026, in Downtown Mendota, IL. Stomp crows, hoard kernels, butter up, and chase the community leaderboard across four festival-day levels.
A hometown project for the Illinois Valley: built from scratch for the browser, no engine, with a live leaderboard. Insert corn to play.
