Steady, a calm
diabetes log.
Steady is a free diabetes log for iPhone. No subscriptions, no ads and no account. Your data stays on your phone. It reads and writes Apple Health, makes a free report to hand your doctor, and comes with Cobble, a calm river stone who cheers what you log and never judges a number.
Cobble, your steady companion. Screenshots arrive with the App Store release.
What it is
Free, private and quiet.
- Free for good. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads.
- No account. Open it and start logging.
- Your data stays on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to us.
- Apple Health. Steady can read from and write to Apple Health, only if you allow it.
- A free doctor report. One PDF you can share from the iOS share sheet.
- Cobble. A calm river stone companion who cheers your actions and never judges your numbers.
What it is not
Honest about its limits.
- No alarms. Steady will not buzz or nag you.
- No insulin dosing. It never tells you how much to take.
- Not medical advice. It is a log. Decisions about your care belong with you and your care team.
Steady is built by Champlin Enterprises as a free app for people living with diabetes. Read the privacy policy.

Questions or trouble with Steady?
Write to kevin@champlinenterprises.com and a person will answer.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your iPhone. Steady has no account and no server, and this version makes no network connection, so nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app from your iPhone and everything it stored goes with it. Because nothing is kept anywhere else, that removes all of it.
Does Steady need an internet connection?
No. Steady works fully offline.
Is Steady really free?
Yes. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases and no ads, and that is the plan for good.
Will Steady alert me or tell me how much insulin to take?
No. Steady has no alarms and does no insulin dosing. It is a log, not a medical device, and it is not medical advice. Talk to your care team about treatment decisions.
