Depending on the country or tribe, it may have a different name. The protocols within shamanism may also differ. Some associate the shaman with the Native American or with Voodoo. Tibetan shamanism is from the Bon era, before the first Buddha, Shakyamuni. With all Shamanisms’ cultural differences between tribes, there are similarities. That everything has soul, or spirit is a common belief. Sometimes the soul/spirit has dis-ease, is hurt, or a part may leave in order to survive a trauma, large or small. In some cases, there is possession, which is not always of demonic means.The shaman or shaman practitioners will alter their state of consciousness by using drumming, rattling, chanting, dancing or other means and travel to spirit worlds and communicate with their spirit animals, teachers and guides, and act as the conduit for Spirits’ work. The more common practices of this modality are; Power Animal Retrieval, re-empowering, Soul Retrieval, returning soul parts, Extraction, the removal of spiritual intrusion, Psycho Pomp, a Greek word for "conductor of souls", helping the souls of the dead. It is a gentle and strong modality by itself and can be a valuable addition to any other healing modality. BODY SOUND TUNINGBody Sound Tuning is a way to adjust the body into balance naturally, through sound. The tuning forks create pure sounds and overtones to help one relax and center one self. When listening to particular sounds or intervals we create an archetypal resonance resulting in a physical and psychic re-patterning or re-tuning of our mind, bodies, and spirit. During the listening process the physical body will re-posture itself to hold the proportion and sound correctly. Sometimes tuning forks are used on particular body points to help align that area or assist in healing.
